Early last week, Marty and I went out to capture some HD footage of traffic for ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems, World Congress 2008 if you want the long title)
More or less we were just recreating exactly what traffic cameras do, but in HD. Exciting eh?
It’s hard to get elevated above traffic in a manner that looks like a legit traffic camera. The video can’t be too good, or it won’t be believable.
We then had a quick brainstorm session. We needed to get high above a few major intersections…this one was the first one we thought of.
If you’re from the Cambridge area, you probably know where this is. (Hespeler Rd and Pinebush)
I’m happy they didn’t turn the waterfalls on while we were up there.
