Becker always says he tries to show up to weddings and engagement shoots like he’s an old friend with a fancy camera. (His website – His wedding photography packages start at about $10 000) Well, I didn’t have to pretend on Friday for Justin and Lindsay’s engagement session.
It was pretty cold out, so we started at Starbucks with some grande tea’s.

From there, we headed over towards Seagram Lofts, because I’ve always loved the shutter pattern on the front of the buildings. From there, they hit the dressing room, and got ready.
Lint rolling a la Justin, and last minute lip treatment

Hair and makeup (alright, so there wasn’t any makeup)

and they’re ready.

One more from Seagram
From there we took part in a Rude Native patio invasion (Alright, it was so cold their patio was closed, and it looked neat)

We had to nail at least one shot for Vogue. So we used the brick wall just outside of the Shops at Waterloo Town Square.

From there, the poking began.

That’s all for today. Thumbs up!

I’m at a Kitchener wedding today. We’re doing photos at Doon Heritage Crossroads – I’m pretty excited.
Tonight I’m also officially starting doing slideshows at the Reception – I pick about 50 of my favorite images from the day, and put a slideshow together while you at your delicious dinner. For now I’m just running it off of my laptop, but there may be a projector in the future.
Check back soon.
